outdoors sport


My family is involved in a lot of outdoors sports. Thank goodness we live in a relatively mild climate that allows for outdoors sport activities all year around. Perhaps that is why we do so many outdoors sport events. If we lived in a snowbound region the opportunity to be outdoors would be a lot less often. I believe my family is happy right here in the desert southwest.

One of my family's favorite outdoors sport is mountain biking. We can ride all year around. In the winter months we take our bikes to the mountain preserve and ride the trails there. In the summer we like to head up north and take the mountain bikes along the rim trails.

Quite frankly, the outdoors sport of mountain biking is such a thrill for my family that I believe they would enjoy just riding through the neighborhood. And in fact, that is exactly what we do on occasion. If we want to ride on whim and it's late in the day, rather than packing things up in the truck, we just grab our bikes and roam the neighborhood. There is a park close by and we often end up there. No matter, it is a good time!
