outdoors sport, sporting goodsThe title may lead you to believe it has been sunny and warm outside but that is not the case. The past couple of days have been overcast, at times cloudy with the occasional rain shower. These are my favorite times for outdoors sports. Running around, throwing a football, leaping, diving and jumping can make a cold day not be so bad at all. I’d rather not play outdoors sports in the rain unless it is mud football but I do love pretty much every sport when it is overcast. Football, soccer, baseball, any game that puts the playing object in the air is easier to do when the bright sun isn’t shining down into the eyes.

I have a problem with overheating quick too. I’m sort of like Shaq at the free throw line, sweating without much real physical activity. Cold weather has a knack for keeping that sweat to a minimum. I don’t know how much longer these grey days are going to last being Southern California but I will take advantage of them. Sporting goods stores here I come.
