outdoors sport, sporting goodsYesterday I watched the final round of the Masters at a local sports bar and could not have been more excited to watch Phil Mickelson win. The recap of the final events is in the video below. I found it ironic that the first shot of Mickelson after winning was of a loving embrace between he and his wife who had been battling cancer. With Tiger’s exploits, this was the money shot the outdoors sport community needed to see. Tiger wanted to win but came in fourth. Stern as ever, he was hard on himself and proved just what kind of athlete he is. There is no doubt he will come back next year and do better, possibly adding another green jacket to his closet.



All of this golf coverage had me going to online sporting goods stores in search of new head socks for my woods. The weather is clearing up and the time to hit the tee is here. Golfing is one of my favorite ways to participate in outdoors sports. That is when the ball is going straight.
